What you learn during the B.A. Development
In the BA Development | Digital Products and Services degree programme (formerly Web Development) you will learn to conceptualise, design and develop real, digital products and services. Interaction Design, UX Design, Usability Engineering, script languages, business informatics and social media are on the curriculum as well as hardware programming, communication strategy and agile project management. Based on this, you will develop digital experiences, online platforms, hardware projects, virtual spaces and games.
The focus is exclusively on sustainable projects that work with large companies, NGOs, institutes, universities or start-ups to achieve sustainable development for society as a whole.
You will learn how to coordinate real projects, work in teams with content experts, communication designers and marketing experts, advise clients, derive concepts from ideas and finally design and technically implement them. Our students work on assignments for clients from all over the world during their studies - an ideal preparation for the start of a professional career.

Admission requirements vary according to the educational background and citizenship of all applicants. Our admission requirements are in accordance with German legal stipulations.

Digital folder with 3-4 own ideas/sketches/projects in the field of interactive media*
Proof of English language proficiency
Copy of your identity card or passport
*Your digital portfolio (PDF, zip, links etc.) and CV should give an insight into your individual creative and technical development, e.g. photoshop, idea sketches, XD or sketch web designs, created websites or apps. We deliberately avoid thematic specifications. Attach a short written explanation of your approach to the work.

The monthly/semester tuition fees remain the same for the entire duration of the study programme. An additional enrolment fee of €500 (EU/EEA) / €900 (Non-EU/EEA) is to be paid once at the start of the programme.

If the interview is successful, you will receive the acceptance letter and the study contract
You will sign the study contract and send it back to us
You will pay the registration fee (all students) and possibly the 3-month deposit (non-EU/EEA students only)
We will prepare your letter of admission for you
You take part in our introductory week and then it begins!
